Summary

 

We are looking for a rockstar Director of Paid Search & Analytics to join our team full-time. As Director of Paid Search & Analytics, you will be responsible for owning and leading the paid search strategy and analytics ROAS performance measurement for our activity, tour, and travel industry clients. Paid search channels include but are not limited to Google ads, Facebook/Instagram ads, Bing ads, YouTube advertising, Search and Display advertising, social platform advertising and analytics platforms. This role combines technical skills with search strategy, along with the ability to look at the analytics and provide recommendations and execution working with our paid search analysts. You will have the opportunity to work with a fun and client centric team while helping our clients to increase their guest counts and revenues with paid search initiatives. This position involves day to day strategy along with paid search campaign execution.  

 

The ideal candidate will provide tactical and strategic support to our team. You consider yourself an expert working inside the Google ads, Bing ads, Facebook/Instagram ads and YouTube advertising platforms and have grown your career by executing and leading within paid search channels.  You also stay informed through industry news and education related to paid search strategy and digital marketing tactics and best practices. 

 

This is a full-time position that reports directly to the President & CEO. You will be supporting our clients paid search channel performance that directly impact the lives of others and you will be a big part of our continued growth and our client’s success.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • You will lead the strategy and executing paid search campaigns for clients.
  • You will work side by side with our paid search analysts to deploy impactful and effective paid search ads that drive incremental guests and revenues for our clients.
  • You will assess the performance of paid search campaigns, review data monthly and turn that information into valuable, actionable insights that achieve measurable ROAS goals.
  • Working with the team you will assist in crafting effective paid ad messaging and selecting incredible creative content that is industry leading and achieves performance ROAS objectives.
  • Monthly you will lead and prepare paid search performance reports for all clients.
  • Effectively manage and stay within paid search monthly budgets for clients and can work with the account management team and client contacts to ensure 100% transparency, make sound recommendations on budget trade-off decisions and risk management.

 

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:

 

To be a great fit for this role, you should have:

 

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience leading a team of search analysts and executing paid search advertising campaigns. Experience can be from corporate in-house or working within a digital marketing agency. Position requires experience in a leadership role. 
  • Thorough knowledge of developing and implementing digital ad campaigns through Google Ads, Bing ads (both search and display), Facebook/Instagram and YouTube. Knowledge of Twitter and LinkedIn opportunities helpful.
  • Ability to translate the analysis of KPI’s and metrics into effective strategies and tactics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate, inform and influence across stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders and can work effectively and respectfully with a team.
  • Have a deep understanding and experience working in the Google ad, Bing ad platforms, Facebook business manager including managing pixels, events and iOS14 updates, using analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Moz, and other digital marketing SaaS platforms relevant to digital marketing agencies. 
  • Ideally you have achieved Google Ads Certification in search, display and video, you have completed advanced Google Analytics certification and you have completed the Facebook Blueprint certification program. 
  • Experience working with industry leading activity and tour res/tech companies is beneficial. Including Fareharbor, PEEK, Xola, The Flybook, Checkfront, Rezdy, Trytan or others.
  • Candidates with experience working in the activity, tour and travel sector will be strongly considered.

 

How We Roll:

 

Projects occasionally may need you to work solo, but often, you’ll need to collaborate with other team members for work assigned. We routinely go between text chat, video chat, screen sharing, and phone calls, so being available for a quick chat or a meeting is desirable. While there may be reasons to work slightly different hours than the rest of the team, you do need to keep communication levels high and be available for internal and client meetings as well as planning sessions throughout the day.

Ideal candidates who are in based in Washington State, Colorado or Wisconsin will be strongly considered. Other locations might be considered depending on meeting all skills and experience specific to this role. This is a remote home based position.
